The Road Home

A new ring~ Turquoise with the loveliest picture....

It reminds me of mountain passes.  A canopy of tree limbs full of dew heavy leaves above and patches of night sky peeking through.

So I named this ring The Road Home...because this has been the scene of my road home many times, leaving my mountains....but knowing I'll return again soon.

What do you see on your road home? What inspires you?  I'd love to know.

  1. You reminded me of when I lived in TN. I would drive each morning from Knoxville to Oak Ridge, I worked at ORNL...a very green drive.

I suppose my road home is not too bad now thought it does not involve rolling green hills...now we have streets lined with lavendar jacarunda that i find beautiful and yet aritifical at the same time! What inspires me is not the street, maybe my own two cats! That's what it is! xoxo

  2. The road from Knoxville to Oak Ridge....I've taken it many times and it is SO lovely.

I've been fascinated with jacaranda trees since Tori Amos referenced them in a song from her Scarlet's Walk album....

And of course the cats.....My two cats inspire me also!

    Much love to you MLJ!
