Bella

This past month has been crazy. CRAZY. Finished up my class at Vanderbilt where I learned some great techniques. I can use a torch now without endangering myself or anyone around me. I can set a stone for pendants, saw shapes from metal, use a hydraulic press, etch patterns in metal with acid and so many more wonderful things. That class was one of the best parts of my week for 8 weeks and I’m going to miss it terribly, but I'm thinking about signing up for the next one in the summer, and then who knows? Maybe I'll take the next one in the fall. One of the great things about making jewelry is that there is ALWAYS something new to learn.

A recent design I’ve done is the pretty Bella. I love the details on these beads, and lucite is so light weight, you can have a pretty substantial size without weighing your ears down. That Bella is a fanciful girl~
These will be up in the shop hopefully this evening... if not, then tomorrow.

The ear wires for these are based on the "Sleeping Beauty" design by
Francesca Lynn. She has some wonderful tutorials on her site and her jewelry is AMAZING. Her Etsy shop can be found here. Stop by and say hi!

I hope everyone's having a fabulous Wednesday~!

Adrienne
